This Assertiveness training is designed for anyone who:

  • Finds it hard to be authentic with others especially those in authority
  • Has difficulty handling aggressive or manipulative behaviour
  • Finds disagreement unsettling
  • Avoids tackling difficult situations in the workplace because they worry about how they will be perceived

  • Understand your assertive rights and responsibilities so you can remain calm and professional when fulfilling your role and responsibilities
  • Say No (or Yes) clearly and mean it
  • Take an active part in meetings and group discussions.
  • Work better with senior stakeholders and those in authority
  • Handle aggressive and manipulative behaviour without responding in kind
  • Use body language to enhance your communication
  • Handle tricky situations better including giving bad news or critical feedback
  • Encourage assertive behaviour amongst colleagues and teams
